The Springfield Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announced it has forged a partnership with BidRx, an online prescription program.
BidRx is a cutting-edge online prescription marketplace that allows consumers to shop online for prescription drugs, similar to airline and lodging pricing sites. Unlike other online sites, however, consumer prescriptions can be filled through local pharmacies with BidRx. All Vermont pharmacies are invited to participate.
BidRx links consumers with all those involved in the prescription drug marketplace - pharmacies, manufacturers, prescribers and payers - allowing them to choose the best drug, price, and pharmacy to meet their needs. This prescription program is designed to complement the statewide chamber health insurance plan but is also a solid stand-alone program, allowing chamber members with any health insurance company to
participate.
Many consumers using the website today are realizing significant savings of 50 percent or more on their prescription drugs.
